School uniforms have been a subject of a long and endless debate between students, schools and parents. Although some complain that uniforms limit the childs self expression and sense of style, it is also proven that school uniforms instill a sense of discipline and equality among students.

Students can be very critical and judging about the clothes they wear. The different styles of students often create disagreements and fights. Kids might tease and mock other kids who does not wear clothes that they consider cool, this creates a tense atmosphere between students that isn’t suitable for learning. School uniforms are there to get rid of these differences and create a sense of unity among students.

School uniforms also symbolizes the pride of the school, and students should be aware that their actions while wearing the uniforms reflects the morals of the schools. This would teach them that they can earn the respect of others by behaving well.

It cannot be argued that casual clothes provide too much distraction. It is unnecessarily to be worrying about what to wear to school when the students should be worrying about their studies instead. It puts everybody on equality grounds so that they can focus on their main purpose, which is studying.
